Overview
Designed a logo kit for Sellfy, Fiverr and Logoground. The motivation for this kit was to exercise my logo development skills further, and to get feedback on my designs.
Inspired by 70s styled logos, Paul Rand, Raymond Loewy and William Snaith,
I wanted the designs to reflect wildlife and other abstract ideas into its simplest forms. And looking at the market, there is a need for more one color punchy minimalism. These logos will be in usage for but limited to: cups, posters, hats, coasters, t-shirts and stickers.

Process
Influenced by Raymond Loewy and William Snaith, I wanted to emulate the stylings of their 1970s representative trademarks book.
Their boldness and recognizable designs have captured all of our eyes for decades.
Loewy believed in his famous principle, MAYA—"Most Advanced Yet Acceptable." Rather than creating something radically new, he designed symbols that felt familiar enough for people to trust while still looking modern.

Process
From the research, I wrote a wordlist and sketched out some designs. Out of the several iterations,
I chose the best ones that reflected nature items like birds, flowers and the human eye. Powerful and familiar symbols that you see in a large portion of logos in the consumer world reflected my choices.
Then used Illustrator to trace over the sketches to create vector shapes and chose to only use black and white so that the tone would be bold on what ever surface it was printed on.

What Was Learned
Overall, what I took away from this project was a personal lesson. I want the opportunity to build out more brand identities from ideas like this. My goal from here is to find more opportunities to create projects like this one.

Result
Adding the logos to a wearable objects for example came out better that expected. The logos work well on things that are embroidered because of the 3D effect. They also set well on flat surfaces with a solid color background like a poster or coffee mug.
