a system to have all the hardware share without having to re-prep each file. Working with in Apple’s standards can be a long process, but we had the brains and braun to execute these challenges.

Worked from detailed spec sheets to establish the layout and production requirements for digital banners and direct mailers. Developed sizing rules, layout guidelines, and file specifications based
on Apple standards, creating a consistent framework that enabled other team members to efficiently build, adapt, and prepare assets for final handoff.

Taking the largest hardware in order to have enough resolution of all types of files is how the process was started. Putting together the proper screens for all countries for our geo partners was something I set up along with our in house production tools. Once the final hardwares were set up, plugging the assets them into the files becomes easier.
Challenge
Our DAM system was not running efficiently, so the work around was to prep all of the files, rename them and delete excess files in order to save time while we waited. In addition, I resized all the images to fit the FPO in order to make replacing the hardware using the replace content tool in Photoshop.

Result
Thorough preparation and early recruitment of additional team members helped streamline the production process and reduce overall turnaround time. Despite a minor hiccup during final asset delivery, the planning and collaborative workflow still resulted in an estimated
5–7% time savings.
